Welcome to us at the BERG!

The BERGhof is a small family-run hotel (only ten rooms!) and Tyrolean inn in Pfunds in the Tyrolean Oberland, in the border triangle of Austria - Switzerland - Italy. We are located high up on the mountain - in the hamlet of Greit, at 1,400m - at the entrance to the Pfundser Tschey. The Tyrolean inn À la Carte Restaurant is open every Thursday, Sunday & holiday - continuous warm cuisine (12:00 - 20:00) Hotel operation of course daily :-) 
Regionality & sustainability is on everyone's lips - with us it is really and sincerely lived. The beer comes from 10 meters away, from the former fitness room - where DIE BERGBRAUER now brew the finest organic craft beer. The eggs from their own farm, the milk and butter from the neighbors, the bread from the baker in the village, vegetables and lettuce from Maria's farm garden, the meat exclusively from Austria - the lamb even from our own farm. Because it's important where it comes from! We rely on conscious reduction to value the high quality of the individual products - no unnecessary frills, but plenty of aroma and flavor. Anton and Andreas cook with local, seasonal foods - braised mountain lamb from our own barn, finely grained beer goulash with Greiter veal, seasonally highly aromatic deer salt in the bocca,...  But also the creative vegetarian cuisine finds a more and more important place in our menu - homemade Nettle Spaetzle, BERG.Chilli, Greiter Gerstl Bowl, Rohnen Tarts,..on the one hand varied pleasure but also to pay tribute to our beloved environment. Maria is in charge of the sweet delights - grandma's homemade Buchteln, crispy Streuselkuchen, fluffy Topfenknödel,...
