From Germany's second largest aviation hub, there are numerous options for onward travel to Tyrol. The approximately 300-kilometre journey to Landeck takes around three to four hours - whether by train, bus or with the "transfer.tirol" shuttle service.
A train ride from Zurich via the Arlbergtrain to Landeck is a scenic experience. The three and a half hours fly by with these views of the Alps. Alternatively, you can continue your journey by bus, transfer shuttle or rental car.
From the Allgäu regional airport, you can get to Tyrol with various bus providers, by train or rental car. The train journey to the Tyrolean Oberland, for example, takes around three and a half hours.
Tirol guests can easily reach Landeck by train from Salzburg Airport in 4 hours. The journey by rental car takes a similar amount of time.
The regional airport on the German side of Lake Constance is connected to Tyrol by rail, bus and transfer shuttles. Of course, rental cars can also be booked at Friedrichshafen Airport.
