Important Road Information B180 Reschenstraße

Current traffic regulations: 

• Winter break (21.12.2024 - 09.03.2025): two-lane traffic management
• Construction phase 4 (10.03.2025 - 02.05.2025): Continuous closure of the B 180 Reschenstraße, detour of traffic with the exception of vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m - via the B 185 Martinsbrucker Straße and B 184 Engadiner Straße as well as Swiss territory. The aforementioned unauthorized vehicles must take a wide detour around the route.
   

Outlook:

• From 03.05.2025: With the exception of the daytime closures, a single lane of traffic will be set up in the construction site area. The traffic will be regulated by traffic lights. In the event of heavy traffic, longer waiting times on the B 180 Reschenstraße are to be expected due to the single-lane traffic control. However, the bypass via the B 184 Engadiner Straße, the Swiss national territory and the B 185 Martinsbrucker Straße is possible throughout, with the exception of vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m. (Note: The route is 6.5 km longer, which means an average longer journey time of approx. 10 minutes)
• 05.05.2025 to 09.05.2025 / 12.05.2025 to 16.05.2025 / 19.05.2025 to 23.05.2025 (daily closures): Closure of the B 180 Reschenstraße from 08:00 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 18:00. Detour of traffic during these periods, with the exception of vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m, via the B 185 Martinsbrucker Straße and B 184 Engadiner Straße as well as Swiss territory. The aforementioned unauthorized vehicles must wait for the duration of the closure or take a wide detour around the route.
• Daytime closures are expected from September 2026 to November 2026.

Important information for cyclists:

• Until further notice, cyclists can use the Via Claudia Augusta as usual from Pfunds to Martina, via Norbertshöhe to Nauders and on to the Reschen Pass.
