Important Road Information B180 Reschenstraße

Current information on the construction site on Reschenstraße/Kanzelgalerie.

• Detour for road traffic via Engadiner Straße and Martinsbrucker Straße.
• Detours for cyclists have also been set up
   

Traffic Regulation:

• Construction Phase 1 (August 1, 2024 – September 1, 2024): Traffic lights or stops for up to 30 minutes, traffic remains on the B180 Reschenstraße.
• Construction Phase 2 (September 2, 2024 – September 27, 2024): Daytime closures Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. Traffic will be diverted—except for vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m—via B185 Martinsbrucker Straße and B184 Engadiner Straße as well as through Swiss territory. Vehicles not authorized must either wait for the duration of the closure or take a wide detour around the closure.
• Interim Phase (September 28, 2024 – October 7, 2024): No closure. Heavy traffic, mostly two-lane traffic flow on the B180 Reschenstraße.
• Construction Phase 3 (October 8, 2024 – December 20, 2024): Full closure of the B180 Reschenstraße. Traffic will be diverted—except for vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m—via B185 Martinsbrucker Straße and B184 Engadiner Straße as well as through Swiss territory. Vehicles not authorized must take a wide detour around the route.
   

Outlook:

• Winter break (21.12.2024 - 09.03.2025): two-lane traffic management
• Construction phase 4 (10.03.2025 - 02.05.2025): Continuous closure of the B 180 Reschenstraße, detour of traffic with the exception of vehicles with trailers over 6.5m and buses over 13m - via the B 185 Martinsbrucker Straße and B 184 Engadiner Straße as well as Swiss territory. The aforementioned unauthorized vehicles must take a wide detour around the route.
• From 03.05.2025: After completion of the preliminary work from May 2025, traffic will be routed across the construction site in a single lane with traffic lights. However, temporary closures of the B 180 Reschenstraße between Pfunds and Nauders are also to be expected during this time.
   

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for Cyclists:

From September 2, the Martinsbrucker Straße/Martina - Norbertshöhe will be closed to cyclists. During the closure period, cyclists must divert via Altfinstermünz/Bierweg. From Punds, take the bike path to Altfinstermünz, from there take the Bierweg/driveway (caution: gravel road) up to Hochfinstermünz, and then continue on the B180 Reschenbundesstraße towards Nauders. This alternative route is not suitable for road bikes. Alternatively, there is the option to reach Nauders with public buses or a bike shuttle.
