Winter hike to the Schwarzen See

Ascent to the Tiefer Gatter via the old Tiefer summer trail no. 7, from the Gatter follow no. 5 briefly uphill, but soon turn right onto the winter hiking trail towards Kreuzmoos, where you meet hiking trail no. 9 (please note: snowshoe hike), now following a somewhat steeper ascent up to Schwarzer See 1,712m.

Scenic, rewarding hike (also recommended with snowshoes!) Now connect to routes no. 5 and 8 with descent via Gasthof Riatschhof back to Nauders.
